This video is too wonderful not to share. Deborah Cohan (PeekYou profile here) is a San Francisco area OB-GYN who, when the above video was shot, was just about to undergo a bilateral mastectomy.

Dancing in the face of such circumstances alone would be sufficiently poignant and inspiring, but Deborah’s motivation was more poetic and moving, as she explains on her CaringBridge.org page here. Deborah hoped for her children, her friends, and loved ones (and whomever else happened upon this web page, we suppose) to join her in her dance, wherever they were, at 7:30am on Tuesday.

We wish Deborah all the best. We’re not certain if she meant to make all of this quite so public (the above vid having already received over 3 million views since Tuesday), but we hope all the good energies she’s put out are coming back to her tenfold.
