‘It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’ Has Been Renewed for Two More Seasons

Sunny
FX‘s incredible It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia has been renewed for two seasons, beyond its upcoming 10th (which the series’ creators had previously said would be the last). Should they complete this order, and reach 12 seasons, this will find the program tied with My Three Sons as the second longest-running live-action sitcom in American television history. Which is pretty cool and weird.

In addition to two further seasons of Sunny, the deal with series creators Rob McElhenney, Charlie Day, and Glenn Howerton will find them producing a new show starring Tracy Morgan (PeekYou profile here).

AV Club writes more about all of this here.
