RIP Peter O’Toole

The great actor Peter O’Toole (PeekYou profile here), the star of such timeless and classic films as Lawrence of Arabia, Becket, and The Ruling Class, has passed away at the age of 81.

Above we’ve included a clip from a mid-90s appearance on David Letterman’s The Late Show where Peter — a legendary raconteur, with a bit of a reputation for hellraising — makes a memorable entrance, and regales Dave with a characteristically hilarious anecdote.

While we know it’s maybe a bit of a miracle he made it to 81, we wish he could have stuck around for another hundred years.
