NHL Goaltender’s Bicycle Kick Save Goes Viral

In a move that was “more Pelé than Brodeur,” on Wednesday, Reto Berra (PeekYou profile here), goaltender for the NHL‘s Calgary Flames, made the incredible, bicycle kick style save you’ll see in the above video.

The incredible save was made against the Columbus Blue Jackets’ Jack Johnson, and many are saying it’s a great candidate for “save of the year.” We’re not well acquainted enough with all the year’s saves to have an opinion, but we can say that it’s insanely fun to watch. The internet is agreeing, it seems, as the video is racking up views by the tens of thousands.
