Boogie2988 (PeekYou profile here) is a popular YouTuber whose video above — detailing a litany of complaints about recent changes in how YouTube commenting works — has been racking up tons of views, and receiving a mostly positive reaction; suggesting that he’s not alone in his gripes.
Having long and wisely avoided all comments on YouTube (as life is a little too short for all of that noise), and therefore not even really being aware of the changes until now, we really have no great opinion on this matter. Nonetheless, it will be interesting to see what happens from here, as the popularity of this video will surely bring its grievances to the attention of the YouTube/Google top brass in a way that virtually no other form of communication could.
