The long and winding road is finally bringing Paul McCartney back to Australia and New Zealand.

The Beatles and Wings legend will bring his long-running One On One Tour to these parts later in the year for a whirlwind five-date visit.

Michael Gudinski’s Frontier Touring Company will produce the tour, McCartney’s first in Australian and New Zealand since 1993’s The New World Tour, almost a quarter century ago.

McCartney can be sure to enjoy a warm welcome. Australians have a long memory, and few have forgotten how the Beatles honored a commitment and made the long haul Down Under at the very peak of their fame, back in 1964.
