Niki Caro set to direct Disney’s Mulan
Disney’s live-action film ‘Mulan’ finally has a director lined up.
Niki Caro is in talks with bosses at the mass-media firm about leading its stellar cast in the upcoming adaptation of the animated classic of the same name after her work on ‘The Zookeeper’s Wife’ was praised by its star Jessica Chastain.
If she accepts the role, 49-year-old film director will become the second woman at the studio to direct a movie budgeted over $100 million, but it’s no wonder top executives have faith in her as she previously proved herself and her talent when she worked with Disney on the 2015…
