When it comes to casinos and gambling, we all could do with a little luck. Let’s face it: while there is extreme skill in winning a poker game (poker face, anyone?), a lot of the gambling games boil down to luck. Which is why we often see participants placing bets as they kiss a lucky charm and whisper to themselves “we got this!”. Many people decide to bring along a lucky charm (whether it’s a nickel from your childhood or a locket from your great-grandmother) in the hopes that somehow the universe will suddenly start sending lucky-waves to those desperately grasping that little charm.
