Announced via taped message at Science Channel’s SXSW Interactive event on Saturday are plans to launch a multi-format series inspired by the incredibly popular Facebook page, I F***ing Love Sciene.

Executive Produced by comedian and talk show host, Craig Ferguson (PeekYou profile here), the show — according to Deadline.com — will feature “a blend of live-action, animation, and recreations showcasing the random connectivity of science with appearances by celebrities and scientists.”

The somewhat reductive, and irrefutably profane Facebook page serving as the program’s inspiration — created three years ago by British biology student Elise Andrew, who is on board with the TV project as a consulting producer — has over 11 million followers.
