Here we are yet again, another year very nearly behind us, and the symbolic clean slate of a fresh calendar appealingly ahead.

The opportunity to redouble our energies toward improving ourselves and our relationships is always there to be seized, of course, but why not commit now?

For us here at PeekYou, 2014 was a memorable year and we look forward to an even more monumental 2015. Just as we as a company have exciting plans and goals for the coming year, many of you — and we as individuals, for that matter — have made New Year’s resolutions; things we’ve each resolved to change and/or improve over the impending 12 months.

The University of Scranton‘s Journal of Clinical Psychology recently did a study, and released a number of interesting New Year’s resolution related findings. For example, 45% of Americans usually make some kind of resolutions at year’s end; yet alas, only 8% are successful in achieving them.

Here are what they found to be the 10 most common resolutions this year:

1) Lose Weight
2) Getting Organized
3) Spend Less, Save More
4) Enjoy Life to the Fullest
5) Staying Fit and Healthy
6) Learn Something Exciting
7) Quit Smoking
8) Help Others in Their Dreams
9) Fall in Love
10) Spend More Time with Family

While weight loss and personal budgeting are not really our areas of expertise, we can absolutely help you to realize at least some of your 2015 goals; specifically those relating to better connecting with family and friends.

Life can be hectic in our modern world, and despite our best intentions we can sometimes lose track of those who matter a great deal to us. Why not make this a year that you, when possible, do some reconnecting?

PeekYou is here to help you find that beloved former neighbor, that old high school sidekick, that fondly remembered distant cousin, and heck, even that long lost flame. If these folks have a presence on the public web, then you’ve definitely come to the right place.

We wish you all a happy and peaceful New Year, and look forward to helping you locate and connect with your friends and loved ones throughout 2015.
